How We Help
The Child Loss BeliEve Fund was created in memory of Eve Gassen to ease the financial burdens of grieving parents in Minnesota. Since our first gift in 2019, over 650 families have received financial assistance when they needed it most for hardships like funeral costs, medical bills, and grief therapy.
We are also here to walk alongside each family navigating life after the loss of their precious child. We BeliEve in the power of compassion, hope, and healing. Eve’s legacy continues with every gift the BeliEve Fund provides.

The BeliEve Foundation History
The Gassens founded The BeliEve Foundation in 2019 in memory of their daughter Eve, who passed on June 22, 2017. In the depths of his grief, Clark sought solace at Faith’s Lodge, where he met other parents whose lives had been devastated by the loss of their child. He realized the financial struggles many grieving families face amidst their grief. Unpaid leave from work, funeral costs, medical bills, keeping up with monthly rent or mortgage payments--these burdens can quickly accumulate to add to a family’s sense of helplessness. It was from this experience that The BeliEve Foundation was born.
