The Voerste Family

Coming to Faith’s Lodge connected us with multiple families that we still have frequent contacts with. One family taught us what we needed to know to do more that survive. They taught us about resources available. They taught us about letting the stress go and finding joy. Faith’s Lodge allowed some of that stress to be gone for a few days. My kids were kids again. So happy and carefree. They love it there and wish they could go every year. We will always cherish our memories and pray some day we can go back. Faith’s Lodge is a place that we can heal and grieve about life that may not be lived. We know we may be back without our son someday but until then we want to bring him as much as possible. We choose to embrace life and walk by faith.
